Tom Hepner, Owner of Quintopia, Cathy Raymaker with PCIRC, and Earl Thompson, owner of the West End Theater as well as the building that houses all three organizations, spoke about the new building they will soon occupy together. They gave credit to several local businesses for their role to create such a beautiful building. Tom shared that Quintopia will now be in two different locations and have a larger kitchen. He noted that the beer had been brewed outside so will be great to again have a new brewery. There will also be an electric car recharging station. Cathy reported she hoped they would be in the new building by Christmas. She reported they had seen 1100 people and their service for the homeless was provided at the OHANA house.
Doug Prouty and Beth Reid both earned this honor as they worked together to clean up the highway. Poor Doug did not receive his recognition last week as Karen Pierson failed to include him in the group photo; and Beth Reid volunteered for community service before she was even a member of Rotary!
