Rotary District 5190's Governor, Jeff Gabriel, drove with his wife, Jane, from their home in Bishop, California, to attend Monday, July 18, 2022 meeting where he offered his own brand of inspiration. In addition he recognized Rotarians for their efforts by presenting these following awards:
- The Quiet Rotarian(s) Award - Sarah Gallagher and Beth Reid (new members who worked hard and provided extra assistance without expecting recognition)
- Heart of Service Award - Karen Pierson (consistently gives her time to serve the club by volunteering for most projects, promoting the good that Rotary does, and brings in new members)
- Newest Members Recognition - Lea Miller and Chris Parent
- Paul Harris Fellowship - Andy Ryback +6 and David Little +
Lastly, Fred Surber was recognized with The Heart of Service Award as well as marking his 49th year in Rotary!
