This is our monthly breakfast meeting. Our program will be Andy Ryback, President and CEO of Plumas Bank. Andy will bring us up to date with goings on at the Bank and it's work in the community. Also, President Kristen will be presenting a vocational service award to Plumas Bank for all of the great stuff they do for our community. All interested members and families are invited to a FABULOUS day of food, fun and collaborations on Tuesday, June, 4th.
We will gather at the Cruse house, 25 W. Chilula Trail, Graeagle, and enjoy some pool, ping pong, cards, foosball, and fellowship. Also, of course, in the Rotary tradition A GREAT MEAL will be served. Then we will sit down for our first Board meeting for the upcoming Rotary year. As our new DG has told me "Our Best Year Ever"! All board members along with all committee chairs are asked to attend. ALL MEMBERS ARE INVITED!!!!
Come ready to enjoy a Saturday with some of the best people in our area. Bring ideas of what you'd like our club to accomplish in this next year.

Our social this month is President Kristen's Demotion Party. This is going to be a great event, and will be held at Kenny Smith's Barn. Kenny will be grilling up some incredible tri-tip, and along with salad and ranch beans we will feast together to celebrate Kristen's back-to-back presidential terms. This is a must attend event! Please set the date so you can come and help us "Demote" Kristen and PROMOTE Matt into the hotseat for next year. A $10 fee per person will be taken at the door to cover food costs AND margaritas for all. Bring beer or wine if that is your beverage of prefernece!

All proceeds from this fundraiser/community service event go to the State Park Docents to help fund wonderful interpretive activities at the park. We will grill up our signature pancake (beer batter) sausage and egg breakfast. Dave Nelson is heading up this event so contact Dave for details. Come to our signature annual event! There will be hot rods, cool airplanes, the bounce house, and a hot air ballon from ReMax realty! Oh, yea... and a delicious pancake breakfast made with our secret beer batter recipe. Sausage, eggs and coffee round things out. If your in the mood for a gin fiz, you can have one of those too! There will be multiple raffle baskets available for you to try your luck on. Members need to arrive early (about 6:00 for set up, and don't forget to hang around for fun fellowship and to get the clean up done!! |

The Board will meet with District Governor Randy in preparation for his "Official Club Visit" on the 16th. The Board will go over club activities and governance, projects, events and goals. DG Randy will be very interested in our membership efforts, and will likely have some good ideas that he has picked up from other clubs he has visited. This is not a "regular" board meeting. the time will be spent devoted to the DG's agenda. Club governance discussion and decisions will be primarily handled at the board meeting on September 10th. All members are once again encouraged to attend for a make up, to get some face time with our great DG, and to learn more about Rotary and our club! |
