Join the Rotary Club of Minden as we bring back the Oktoberfest, a free community event at Lampe Park, 11AM-4PM.
And yes, it's in September because that's how they do it in Germany.
There will be food and drinks for sale, vendors, live music, contests, a kids' zone, and more.
Contests include:
- Adult and child costumes
- Stein holding (Masskrugstemmen) - men (Mann) and women (Frau)
- Keg tossing - Mann and Frau
- Barrel rolling - Mann and Frau
- Kids pretzel eating - the contest is just for kids, but we challenge any adult to eat as many pretzels as they can for fun.
Vendors: Please see the Vendor Form file on the right-side menu. Fees are $65 for non-food vendors, and $150 for beer and food. Set up is 8-10AM.
