Denise and Dr. Cooper Langford – both joined Rotary Club of Vernon

Posted by Otto Rieve on Sep 06, 2017
President Aidan Northcott inducted two Rotarians into the Rotary Club of Vernon

Denise Langford is a Paso Fino aficionada.  Denise joined two prior Rotary Clubs – in Calgary and in Central Ontario. (Ed per Wikipedia: The Paso Fino is a naturally gaited light horse breed dating back to horses imported to the Caribbean from Spain in 1492 and 1493)

Cooper Langford, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry, now retired from in-class teaching but has a leading Research Group Partnership at the University of Calgary. As Cooper makes the retirement transition, he is happy to finally accede to Denise’s “urging” and become a member of Rotary.

As new residents to Coldstream and Vernon, they both look forward to being active members and supporting Rotary’s work and projects locally and internationally.
