Here's how it works:
1. Download the Cover 5 app on your cell phone or tablet
2. Use the team code to join our league
3. Pick 5 teams each week
4. Points are awarded based on the point differential and the spread:
a. If your team wins by 5 but is a 3 point favorite, you get 2 points
b. If your team loses by 5 and they are a 3 point favorite, you lose 8 points
c. If you fail to make a pick, you lose 5 points for each missed pick
5. Entry fee is $50, payable by September 30
6. The winner picks a local 501(c)(3) to receive the proceeds
We would really like to get 20 players this year so we can give $1,000 to a local charity. Last year we gave $700 to the Galena Food pantry!
