Unique experiences which make you stand out as a leader or ambassador for Moline High School: For most of my life I was a competitive gymnast. Unfortunately Moline doesn’t have a gymnastics team so I could only compete through my club. Gymnastics was very time consuming and hard on my body so I had to be creative with how to stick with what I love and still be involved in the school. My sophomore year I chose to do cheer and dance through Moline, and my senior year I joined lots of clubs. I learned to make the most out of my situation and ended up being much more involved in my school than I ever expected. I’m so glad I made this decision and have made many wonderful connections through it. 

Personal Characteristics or qualities for ambassadorship: I have always been a natural leader and know when to take charge or make a decision that benefits a group or team. These qualities shine most in the sports I have participated in. Through high school, I have also learned to become more independent which is growth that I am very proud of. 

Importance of being an ambassador or representative for Moline High School:  Being an ambassador for Moline High School is a high honor, as it is a role model and exceptional example of a student for all of the Moline School District. I’m proud to have been chosen for this role and plan to use it to uplift and help those around me.

Importance of being an ambassador or representative for Moline High School: I love being chosen as a student from MHS that is capable of representing our community and schools.

Unique experiences which make you stand out as a leader or ambassador for Moline High School: Experiences that I have had that make me stand out as a leader would be that I was the captain of the cheer team for 2 years. Also I am a mentor to the younger girls at my dance studio. 

Personal Characteristics or qualities for ambassadorship: I am determined, confident, outgoing, kind, and trustworthy. 

Importance of being an ambassador or representative for Moline High School: I think that it is important to be a good representative of Moline High School because not only are we representing the school and the student body but we are also representing the community.

Moline High School Sports Participation: Swimming/Diving

Leadership Positions at Moline High School: I have been a leader on the swim team this past year as a senior and will be taking a much bigger part on behalf of the yearbook this year as well.

Participation in out-of-school clubs, organization, affiliations, or sports: Out of school I go help my grandma and uncle at their restaurant. I also work at Hy-Vee and have gotten promoted to a lead role. This means the managers have more trust in me to run aisles online while they are gone.

Personal Characteristics or qualities for ambassadorship: I am very vocal and like to make connections with new people. I am also very understanding of people's situations and always take that into account when communicating with them. 

Importance of being an ambassador or representative for Moline High School: It is important to be a representative of Moline High School, as it is one of the best schools in the Quad Cities, and I am very proud to be able to represent it. The majority of my peers are great people, and I’m happy to be able to represent them.

Leadership Positions at Moline High School: History Club- Treasurer, Interact Club- Treasurer, National Honors Society- Raffle Committee Head

Participation in out-of-school clubs, organization, affiliations, or sports: I work at Von Maur in Moline and the University Club downtown Moline. I am also a member of First Congregational Church and I volunteer there on Sundays during Sunday School.

Unique experiences which make you stand out as a leader or ambassador for Moline High School: This year I was in charge of organizing the student and staff raffles for Share Joys. Both of these raffles bring in a solid chunk of the money raised for Share Joys so it was really important to me to do well. Myself and a few other students had to contact around 300 businesses in the community to ask for donations. I was then in charge of organizing when/how they would be picked up, making sure they were delivered/picked up on time, and identifying what the item of donation was to then separate into the two raffles.

Personal Characteristics or qualities for ambassadorship: Leadership, responsibility, organization, and caring

Importance of being an ambassador or representative for Moline High School: I’m so excited to be picked to represent MHS at rotary. I think it’s a great opportunity and I’m very excited to meet new people. It’s an honor to be chosen and I hope to exemplify Moline in the best way possible.

Moline High School Sports Participation: Basketball, Soccer, Track

Leadership Positions at Moline High School: Captain of the soccer team for 2 years.

Participation in out-of-school clubs, organization, affiliations, or sports: Captain of club soccer team. Participation in youth group at church.

Personal Characteristics or qualities for ambassadorship: I am very persistent and never quit or give up. I am also very confident and believe I can do whatever I put my mind to.

Importance of being an ambassador or representative for Moline High School: I think that being a representative of Moline High School is very important because it makes me a role model and leader for all the other students and younger kids.
