Monday's speaker will be a Classification Talk and some Club History by Jerry Butts. Also, Paul Harris pins and Club Committee review.
 
 
Last Monday's Program
 
Last Monday we were visited by Annika Tunberg, Vice President at Whitey’s Ice Cream. 
 
After attending school at Iowa State University, she worked in both New York City and Chicago gaining experience in Public Relations and Marketing. Over that time, she handled corporate and consumer accounts overseeing brand reputation management, crisis control execution and traditional and social communication strategies. Annika moved back to the Quad Cities in 2016 to work at her families’ company, Whitey’s Ice Cream. In her role at Whitey’s, Annika is responsible for many leadership tasks while overseeing the day-to-day operations and the company’s marketing programs.
 
 
Annika recently graduated from the Tippie School of Business, University of Iowa, where she earned a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on Marketing. Additionally, she sits on several charity/organization boards in the Quad Cities, including the Two Rivers YMCA, Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, Figge Development Committee and the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board.
 
 
Annika gave an entertaining presentation on the history of whiteys, showing many interestin, nostalgic photo of the famous corner of 23rd Avenue [sic] and 16th Street!

HEADS UP REMINDER!
We will continue to hold our weekly meetings in person since we are well within the State of Illinois guidelines. We have been averaging 40 to 45 people per week.  We also are asking members to spread out a little more at each table and wear a mask when not eating.
