This Monday's Program

This Monday, we will hear from Marcy O'Brien, Executive Director of the Rock Island County Children's Advocacy Center. Their mission is to reduce trauma to children under the age of 18 who have experienced physical or sexual abuse.

Last Week's Speaker

Our guest speaker last week was Eric VanWinkle, an LPL Wealth Advisor with SBS Financial. He led us thru his Moline Rotary Classification talk.

Eric has a Bachelor's Degree from Western Illinois in General Studies with minors in Marketing and Business Administration. His certifications are Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (National Association of Plan Advisors) and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (College for Financial Planning). Eric presented information on setting up Retirement Plans for both individuals and companies that offer benefits to their employees. There are new rules/laws applicable to some of them, including the Illinois Secure Choice Program, and he suggests it is best navigated with the help of someone qualified such as himself.
