A very special TDRC Thursday Evening Gathering with our State Assemblyman, Ken Gray. 

We'll meet on the rear of the Nevada Legislature Building at 5:45pm where we'll have a tour of the Legislature and Capital building by our own Assemblyman Gray, with time in the Legilative chambers where we'll here from Assemblyman Gray on what's coming up in NV politics, and why he has chosen to serve in the State Assembly. 

Then, we'll head across the street to have dinner and drinks at Cucina Lupo where they'll have a wonderful dinner menu for us.

Past TDRC Speaker as the Genoa Town Manager has a new gig. He and a partner have developed a robotic way to clean up Tahoe's beaches! Meet Eco-clean, as CEO JT Chevallier tells us about his new company, what he has in store for Eco-clean, and how he plans to make a difference in the Tahoe basin. I'm sure you have friends that will be interested to hear more about this summer's beach cleanings, so bring a friend!

One of the most iconic meeting spots and event centers on the Lake has had their new executive director for just over a year. Come hear from Meg Peart on the history of this spot, how her innagural year has been, and what's in store for Valhalla Lake Tahoe.

This will be a heartwarming and educational update on how the Tahoe Basin handles the needs of neglected and homeless pets at Lake Tahoe. Come hear from CEO Stephanie Nitsler and Community Engagement Director Erin Ellis as they educate TDRC on what happens with Tahoe animals in need. Most of us have pets in our lives and I know we can do more to help the cause to make sure these animals are all given loving homes and healthcare.

A great TDRC Thursday Evening Gathering at the Lake Tahoe Epic Curling Club!

Our hosts, Kim and Greg Felton will open the Club for TDRC to learn about how this club offers the curling experience to everyone. We'll have food and drinks, and this is a good opportunity to bring someone along to enjoy our club's fellowship. 

We know this is a bucket list item, so come try Curling!

What makes a great community? There's a short list, and a strong Chamber of Commerce + an active Rotary Club hits the top. Come hear from the new CEO of the Tahoe Chamber, Cristi Creegan, as well as our beloved Jessica Grime as they share the vision of our Tahoe Chamber with some history on how Chamber and Rotary together builds good business and good community members.

We are DARK this week as we encourage all TDRC Members to join the District 5190 Conference in Fallon, NV. We'll plan fun gatherings along with the great group Rotary events planned for the weekend. If you haven't been to a DC, it's really a great opportunity to see more about what Rotary does outside of our own clubs. Registration is required and the link is below. We heard from Douglas County Library Director Tim DeGhelder recently on all the activity the Douglas County libraries have going on, and it was eye opening! The Friends of the Library asked TDRC to help them add AV Equipment to the Zephyr Cove Library's conference room and we did! 

Let's gather with some food and drinks, hear about our closest library and how this donation will help them serve our community.
