Rotary Meeting Jan 13

PE Cheryle presided and introduced our guest speaker, Joan Zennstrom to the 10 members - plus Sarah! Joan entertained us with her 30 years history as a Customs and Immigration Officer, with 20 of those in Osoyoos so you should recognize her! She retired in 2009 and now owns a consulting business here. She provides Immigration services to independent applicants and businesses in Canada and oversees. A neat lady and a good presentation. Happy bucks revealed that Harold was off to NZ for 6 weeks van camping with Audrey and we only later found out it was his birthday! Good news from one of our snowbirds ... Peter was elected Czar of Recycling at his park resort! Evidently it was because he could actually bend over and then had a truck! Congrats!
