Melissa Igo, Parent Liaison for Alvin ISD, shared the many programs currently in session during the summer season. The newest, Feed the Gap, is a partnership with Manvel Community Outreach and the Houston Food Bank to bring fresh produce and other food items to our families as a free service.
Other programs Melissa spoke about included the YET Mentoring program! Many Rotarians served as mentors during the first year and plan to return. They are currently recruiting new mentors and hosting training sessions all summer long.
