My name is Ana Ramos, I am 21 years old and a native of Laredo, Texas. Recently, I earned my bachelor's degree in biology from Texas A&M International University pursuing a foundation for medical school. Moreover, I completed the Undergraduate Accelerated Master's Program (4+1) in Biomedical Informatics, earning a graduate certificate from the UTHealth School of Biomedical Informatics in Houston, Texas. My fervor lies in serving marginalized communities through volunteer efforts, aspiring to extend my impact as a physician in the years ahead.
 
My name is Adriana Medrano. I am a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in biology and public health from Texas A&M International University. I am passionate about fostering the health and well-being of at-risk communities, so I am dedicated to advocating for vulnerable populations and advancing health equity. My goal is to promote and achieve the full potential of health and well-being for all, contributing to a healthier and more equitable future beginning with the residents in the Atención Integral de la Tercera Edad de Alajuela, Costa Rica as well as our own community in Laredo, Texas.

John C. Kilburn Jr. has been a Rotarian since July 2014 and became a Paul Harris Fellow in 2022.  Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, he received his BA in Sociology from the University of New Orleans and his MA & Ph.D. from Louisiana State University (the other LSU).  He, his wife Judith (also a Rotarian), and his children Madeline and Robert moved to Laredo in January of 2005, where he has been employed at Texas A&M International University.  He currently serves as Chief Research Officer and Associate Vice President for Research, as well as Professor of Sociology.  John has embraced the city of Laredo and has been involved in numerous activities such as St. Peter the Apostle Church, and various community theatre organizations and has served in various roles on the board of directors of eight different community organizations.
