Sharing the Kids Help Phone Message in Schools” Program receives financial assistance…..
The "Sharing the Kids Help Phone Message in Schools" program received a boost from the Sunrise Rotary Club with a donation of $1000 which will provide five middle and high schools in Kelowna with a package of youth-friendly posters and wallet cards. Once the posters are in schools, it is anticipated that more young people will reach out to the ‘Kids Help Phone’. The club’s donation will also help to improve access by supporting the cost of professional counseling hours 24/7/365.
Both requests for financial assistance were approved by the members of the club at their regular meeting on April 20th.
