Rotarians right across the world, who are leaders and problem-solvers, financially support The Rotary Foundation.  They do this because they understand that Rotarians, wherever they are,  unite and take action to create lasting change, across the globe, in our communities, and in themselves.  While Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise are only a small part of the 1.2 million Rotarians from over 200 countries, our Rotarians make a big difference for those in need in the world and within our community.
In the past two weeks, three additional club Rotarians were recognized for their financial support of The Rotary Foundation.  Bob Fortier, Club Foundation Chair, was very pleased to acknowledge the contributions of Colleen McEwan on June 15th, and the contributions of Dianne Garries and Craig Garries on June 22nd.
Colleen McEwan, only a member since September of 2017, was presented with a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) pin, medallion and certificate for contributing over US $1000 during the past eight months.  Dianne Garries also received a PHF pin, medallion and certificate, for her first total contribution of US $1000 to the Foundation since she was first inducted.  Craig Garries, who has continued to support the Foundation, was presented with a PHF+1 pin for having contributed over US $2000.
