For years, the Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise has provided beverage service at the Okanagan Sun Football games, as a complementary service to the club and its organization. The volunteers from the club, usually eight at a time, man two stations in the Apple Bowl Park during the home games.

While the club does not receive any portion of the sales of the beer products, the club has in recent years accepted tips from the customers. These tips have assisted the club in achieving its financial goal for the PolioPlus program of The Rotary Foundation. Tips generally total $100 - $150 per game.
Club member Brian Fennell continues to organize the beer service program for the home games, seeking out club member volunteers and coordinating the service with the Okanagan Sun Football Club.
