The Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise is pleased to announce the names of those who were fortunate to have their raffle ticket stubs drawn at 2:30 pm on September 30th at the conclusion of the club’s 5th Annual Raffle.
The ticket for First Prize for a $5200 value for groceries from Save-On-Foods was purchased by Pierre Moisan of Kelowna, British Columbia
Peter Rotheisler from Kelowna had his ticket stub drawn for 2nd Prize, a Green Mountain Smoker with Accessories valued at $1500. White’s BBQ & Fireplace of Kelowna provided the prize.
The 3rd Prize draw, $1000 in cash from the Interior Savings Credit Union, was awarded to Cynthia Pottinger from Kelowna when her ticket stub was the third drawn from the barrel.
Meryle Corbett from Kelowna was the lucky winner of a $500 Gift Voucher from Torino Ritz Men’s Wear, the 4th prize draw.
The raffle draw, held outdoors at Save-on-Foods at 3175 Lakeshore Drive in Kelowna, was covered by K96.3.
Sales from the Annual Raffle amounted to $34,920, based on the sale of 6,984 tickets valued at $5 each.
The Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise is very appreciative of the generous donations of $8,200 worth of prizes provided by our valuable annual sponsors, Save-On-Foods, White’s BBQ & Fireplace, Interior Savings Credit Union and Torino Ritz Men’s Wear.
Thanks to all the people who purchased the raffle tickets, the raffle proceeds will now be used to support the Okanagan Youth Recovery House, a program of Bridge Youth and Family Services, and other local charities.
