For the fourth year in a row, the Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise Raffle has increased its revenue due to increased sale of raffle tickets.  This means that there are even more funds available to support humanitarian and other needs within the community.

At the regular meeting of the club on August 30th, Bob Fortier, the on-going chair of the Raffle program committee shared that the club had gross sales of $32,030 with an net profit of $30,500. This included the sale blitz during the August 23-25 Interior Savings Sunrise Rotary RibFest which resulted in sales amounting to $11,745.

Special thanks go out to the sponsors of the Raffle, including Save-on-Foods that provided the first prize of groceries for a year for the fourth year in a row amounting to $5200, the Interior Savings Credit Union that provided second prize with a $1000 cash donation, White’s BBQ & Fireplace that provided a third prize of a barbeque and accessories valued at $600, and Montana’s BBQ & Bar that provided ten prizes of $100 gift vouchers.
