Our club is sponsoring Albury Wodonga volunteer Val Wilson in her annual visits to a Vietnamese school where Val teaches music to the young school children.
Each year, Val Wilson travels to Hoi An, a village in the Vietnam countryside to teach music to the kids at a local school. She teaches classes of up to 35 children every morning from 8am to 11.30am. As a result of these lessons, the children are able to perform in a school music concert.
Val sells jewellery and clothes at markets in Albury Wodonga including the Rotary Community Market in order to help pay for her volunteer work in Vietnam.
The Rotary Club of Albury North is also sponsoring Val for her volunteer work in Vietnam.
