Maggie Chant Embarking On RYE Experience
Outbound RYE Exchange Student Maggie Chant from Glenrowan West has left Australia and arrived safely in Denmark. Fifteen year old Maggie has told us that Denmark was her second preference after Switzerland. When asked why Denmark she told us about meeting and talking with a Danish Agricultural exchange student who resided with her great grandmother. Maggie has previously thanked the Club for sponsoring and providing her with what she said will be an amazing unforgettable experience.

Bittern Summit BBQ Dinner – 31 January 2023, Fivebough Wetlands
Riverina Local Land Services is hosting the Australasian Bittern Summit 2023 in Leeton from January 31 to February 3. The summit is a unique opportunity to connect with scientists, conservationists, wetland managers, birdwatchers and farmers who share a passion for the iconic Australasian bittern. The Rotary Club was asked if they wished to cater for attendees via a BBQ aka on this occasion ‘build your own burger’. As is the Rotary way the Club said ‘yes, of course we would’.
