Brain Teaser
Every Friday, Tim visits his favourite coffee shop. Each month, he visits the coffee shop 4 times. But some months have more Fridays than others, and Tim visits the coffee shop more often. What is the maximum number of months like this in a year?

Director’s Reports
President Jennifer
Jennifer drew our attention to the emails concerning re-districting and that submissions were due by the following day. There was some discussion on the subject with general consensus being that we would much prefer 3 NSW districts than two and, if two the proposal to split the districts North and South was unworkable.
Jennifer also drew our attention to the fact that there will be no Rotary Youth Exchange in our District in 2026/2027. The Youth Exchange Secretary has resigned under difficult circumstances and the District will be looking for a replacement.
Secretary Brian
Brian reported on two discussions in the Board about a Film by Lachlan McIntyre – we are supporting an application for a community grant to support the event. He also reported on a show- type initiative and we may be supporting this with a sausage sizzle in October.
Brian has transferred the registration of the two RYDA trailers to our club.

Sergeant Bill

Bill made sure he spread the pain around by including everyone in his pursuits. He focused on the Day – it turns out it was the International Day of Jazz. More importantly it was the National Day of Sav Blanc.
It was a good session and left us all feeling a little lighter (in pocket and in spirits)
The raffle was won by Brian.

Market Day – 2nd May
It was a quiet day but was an opportunity for some good fellowship. One customer paid $50 for a sausage sandwich and refused to take her change. This was probably our profit for the day.
The bulletin editor was slack on the day and forgot to take any snaps but he was very grateful for all those who volunteered to help.

Farewell to Bruer
Many members of our club travelled to Wagga to farewell Bruer. It was a beautiful service, and it was sad but important to remember how much Bruer contributed to our Club and to our lives.
I know all members extend our thoughts and wishes to Carol and we I am sure we offer our help at any time if needed.

More Sad News
The funeral notice for Ron Bell notes that the funeral is on Friday. I am sure we all pass on our best wishes to Jan on the sad occasion.

We also learnt this week that past member Peter Errey passed away in Echuca this week. We still have no news about the arrangements.
