“Hello Carmel,
I hope you are well.
I am now two months into my exchange and it is going very well. I have done lots of fun things!!
- I had the welcome meeting the Saturday I arrived and it was lovely to meet all the exchange students.
- I then had intro camp which was also super good.
- My host family took me to Stockholm which was amazing and so pretty.
- I have started volleyball.
- I have also been given a horse to ride for the year, her name is Sara and she is an Icelandic Horse.
- I am enjoying school although not the 6.10 wake-ups
- I have also gone to Århus several times with other exchange students which were lots of fun.

- Ladies Night – Bob’s Birthday Celebration Thursday 30 March 2023 – Bring yourself, your family and friends and join us to celebrate Bob’s 90th birthday with him.

- Leeton Farmers & Makers Market – Next market will be for Easter on Saturday 1 April 2023, Mountford Park with extended program from 9.00am to 2.00pm.
- District Grant – Brian and Nick attended meeting on Wednesday, grant will be used for a business breakfast in conjunction with Chamber of Commerce.
- Yanco Ag Institute 50yr Reunion – Club has been invited to cater for 50yr reunion on 27 August 2023.
- Art Deco Festival – Club has been asked for a letter of endorsement by Leeton Shire Council.
- Gathering Details – Our weekly gatherings commence at 6.30pm sharp with the meal to be served at 6.40pm.

Sergeant Bruer, who also nominated himself as Co-acting President and then nominated himself as Acting President did a great job fining as many of us as possible. He even attempted to get fines out of Gabby, saying she keeps following us. Gabby’s response was “I was here first”, so who is following who you might ask!

Just Because I Can
Leaving the Leeton TAFE campus on Thursday night, I among others was most impressed with the absolute glorious display of colour. Hope you find it as impressive as those that saw it in person did. If you look really closely you can even see a slither of moon.
