- Following an email from the District, the Board has decided that there will be no incoming or outgoing exchange next year.
- The Rotunda siting decision will be deferred to March
- A Sheet was passed around for the District Governors visit on 29th (a combined meeting with Narrandera and Leeton Central.
- Don’t forget to register for the Resilience Breakfast on 21st
- No meeting on 22nd.
- The Mossie candles have been delivered from Boys to the Bush to the Op Shop.
- Our Surplus trailer has been ‘sold’ to the Cadets.
- The lost shirts have been found but there are only a few left (mostly XL and $XL)

- Friends of Luro is closing down – it has been operating since 2004 but the need is no longer as great.
- There are sufficient funds to cover our commitment to the scholarship.
- Our Club, combined with Rotary Central will take over the Charity Golf Day at the end of June to raise funds for a specific charity – possibly JumpStart or ‘Boys to the Bush’ – to be dicided between the two Rotary Clubs and Eric.

- RYDA: 27, 28 and 29 February – Coordinated by David Laing. Will be looking for help with the BBQ but will not need guides this year.

- There will be a Peace Seminar for Youth, coordinated by Ken Dach and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sydney. While not involving our Club, it is an opportunity to consider our contribution as a Peace town since 2013. Do we want to be involved in the Peace Pole initiative.

Sergeants Session – George Weston
George did a great job – especially since he didn’t know he was Sergeant until reminded at the meeting (Message to all: - should at least scan the Bulletin).
There was plenty of discussion about Geoff’s shirt and he made a point of returning Eric’s large collection of bright ties. Carmel was also pinged for her black and white version of Geoff’s shirt.
Others to feel his wrath were Andrew, Bruer, Barry and the birthday and anniversary squad (the Bulletin did come in handy!)
What Rotary Month is it? World Understanding Month.

For Valentines Day
“During World War II my parents had planned a romantic Valentine’s Day wedding. Suddenly my father, then stationed at Kapooka in Wagga Wagga, received orders to prepare to ship out, and all leaves were cancelled. Being a young man in love, he went AWOL. He and my mother were married four days earlier than originally planned and he returned to base to an angry sergeant. After hearing the explanation, the sergeant understandingly replied, ‘Okay, okay!’ Then, as an afterthought: ‘But don’t let it happen again!’”

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, “You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don’t have to wait as long to get our coffee.”
The husband said, “You are in charge of the cooking around here so you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee. “Wife replies, “No, you should do it, and besides it says in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."
Husband replies, “I can’t believe that! Show me.”
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says, “HEBREWS”.

Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, "Why is the bride dressed in white?"
