Sergeant Session – George
George did what he does best. He demonstrated our weakness at Rotary matter and made considerable funds in the process. He asked each member what the Rotary month was in the month of our birthday. Unfortunately for the members, but, fortunately for the fines box, there were very few right answers.
The session was followed by some cross fines.
It was a very successful session.
The raffle was won by Alan.

Market Day
The market day barbecue was held on Saturday 5th April. Once again, it was well supported by Rotarians.
It was a beautiful day – if a little chilly in the morning. It was probably a little better supported that the two previous days but more customers would be welcomed.
There were a few positive comments about the notice board explaining where the sausage money goes.

The Repairman
A woman had a problem with her wardrobe door in the bedroom. Every time a bus passed outside the house; the door of the wardrobe would fall off.
She called a repairman to try to fix the problem.
The repairman came and saw that, indeed, the door did fall off every time the bus passed by.
“Okay!” said the repairman. “I’m going to step inside the wardrobe. You close the door behind me, and I’ll see if I can detect what the problem is.” So, he stepped inside the wardrobe and the wife closed the door behind him.
At this point, the husband suddenly arrived home to hear his wife in the bedroom talking to someone. He rushed upstairs and opened the wardrobe door.
He saw the repairman and shouted, “What the hell are you doing in there?”
The repairman meekly replied, “Well believe it or not, I’m waiting for a bus!”
A: Elevator out of order.
