There was a significant early rush for egg and bacon rolls, with Bill and Barry ‘put to the test’ early in the day. - We need to make a decision on the future of the Rotunda. There are two proposals – the showground and in Rotary Park. Bill made a plea for the Showground, while the Park Run Committee have written to the Club to note how it would be an asset for the Park run and the skete park.
- It was decided thet members should have the opportunity to vote on the decision in secret and by computer.

- We received the Club Attendance Award at the District Conference. Possibly had as much to do with distance as attendance. Congratulations to those who mad the effort. Next year will be in Mittagong.
- There was an announcement of a Zone wide project at the Conference
Stop the violence, End the Silence. A Domestic and Family Violence Initiative. The Rotary Districts in NSW are partnering with the NSW Police in this initiative. Our Club is asked to reserve time on Friday 1 December for a day of action as a part of the campaign to raise awareness of domestic and family violence.

- For those (like me) who missed it: Estella Errey passed away on 18th October and her funeral was held in Leeton on 25th October. Our thoughts are with Peter and the family.
******************************** Sergeants Session – Bruer Chiswell Bruer is not a particularly happy Sergeant but managed to create a little havoc including fines for Nicholas (moving house); those not having been to the Roxy or Circa 21; not knowing the YAHS Motto (as you sow so shall you reap); Alan (Riley rego); Eric for not admitting to errors; Jennifer (sleeping rough); and Bill for the showground bitumen. Well done, Bruer,- you can now have a rest for a few weeks. The raffle was won by Jennifer. ******************************** Four Weddings: The local newspaper was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married for the fourth time. The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation.
"He's a funeral director," she answered. "Interesting," the newsman thought... He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.
She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years.
After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she was in her 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, and a preacher when in her 60's, and now - in her 80's - a funeral director.
The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.
She smiled and explained, "I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."
