We gathered at the Sycamore St. Car Park to look at the new MLAK facility. We were greeted by Emma Di Muzio and Salim Choudhury from Leeton Council. MLAK is the Master Locksmiths Access Key.
The Leeton facility is an Adult Changing Places Facility. It was built using an Australian Government Grant and is a state-of-the-art changing facility’
The facility includes a centrally located peninsula toilet with privacy screen, a constant-charging ceiling track hoist system, an accessible shower and a height-adjustable adult-sized change table. It is accessed by the MLAK key which is only available to disabled people or their carers with the access key (other specific groups also have access – e.g. doctors, health professionals, etc.) More information can be found at https://masterlocksmiths.com.au/mlak
The Leeton facility is a specific MLAK facility called a Changing Places facility. These are larger than standard accessible toilets. More information on these facilities can be found through www.changingplaces.org.au . A search of this website shows the 402 places across Australia (although this currently does not include the Leeton facility).

Child Protection Training
Brian presented a PowerPoint detailing the important child protection requirements for Rotarians. It is a requirement that we do a training session at least once every year. The full PowerPoint presentation is available on the District website but is not that easy to find. A copy of the Power Point can be obtained from the Secretary or the Bulletin editor. Brain Teaser
At the recent Rotary downhill mountain bike race, four entrants entered the challenging slalom event.
Alex finished in first position. The entrant wearing number #2 wore red, but Drew didn't wear yellow. The person in last place wore blue, and Stevie wore number #1. Glen beat Stevie, and the person who finished in second wore number #3. The entrant in yellow beat the entrant in green. Only one of the entrants wore the same number as their final position. Can you determine who finished where, the number, and colour they each wore?

Golf Day – 14 June.
Despite the possibility of rain, the day turned out to be beautiful for Golf.
A good roll-up of Rotarians turned up to provide the steak sandwiches for the day. While numbers were down on last year, it was a successful day of fund raising for Boys to the Bush.
