Our esteemed host and quiz master for the evening was our very own Rotarian in-training and Chef Matt Gatt ably assisted by Gabby, providing the entertainment with jokes, team challenge and trivia. I know Rotarians are a kind and generous bunch, but I have discovered they can also be very competitive. A couple of comments from the night; “ha ha you are stupider than us”; “a very generous estimate of my abilities” and ‘we are just as clever as you now”. I must admit some of the questions in the five ‘coloured coded’ sections were outside our member’s scope of expertise. Name the artwork (if that is what you call it) and the artist. So what do you do when you don’t have snow, you construct a snowman using crockery. And the winners for the evening, everyone who attended and participated!
