Free 3D Hands
President Jennifer was on a Rotary camping trip to Phillip Island. One of the places she visited was the Free 3D Hands factory and she was very impressed so wanted to share her discovery with the Club.
Greg provided an information session(including videos) on the initiative. The information can be viewed by visiting: https://free3dhands.org/
The charity was founded by Mat Botwell after he was made redundant when Toyota ceased manufacturing in Australia. Now he has a factory in Phillip Island with 30 3D printers, solar panels and batteries. to manufacture his designs. The charity supplies the hands for free (not even charging postage). The designs are open source and available for anyone to download.

Brain Teaser
You are in a place called Wally’s World, and there is only one law. There is a mirror, but no reflection. There is pizza with cheese, but not sausage. There is pepper, but no salt. There is a door, yet no entrance or exit. What is the law?

Sergeant Barry
Barry conducted aa typically hard Sergeant’s session. He was particularly hard on non-St Kilda supporters. It is so nice to see so much enthusiasm at the start of the footy season – long may it continue.
He was able to find something damaging for most members.
The Serge in a determined mood
Raffle was won by Brian.

Market Day
The Markets were marked by good weather (at least in the early morning). Patronage was a little better than at the last markets but died suddenly mid-morning.
Thanks to Carmel for the pics of the hard workers.

A Short Story
Little Johnny was having problems in English class, so his teacher decided to stop by on her way home to speak with his parents.
When she rang the bell, Little Johnny opened the door.
The teacher said, "Hello, Johnny. I would like to talk to your mother or your father".
Little Johnny said, "Sorry, but they ain't here".
The teacher said, "Johnny, why is your grammar so bad?"
"Beats me," said Little Johnny, "but dad sure was mad that they had to go and bail her out again."
