This Wednesday night's " in person" meeting at the golf club has been cancelled due to lack of numbers.
We will be meeting by zoom at 6.30pm for those who are interested.

Exciting News from Jane
A couple of weeks ago I was very humbled and overwhelmed to be asked to nominate for the 2024-25 District Governor position by our DGE Geraldine.
After much consideration and discussion with Michael, the Board and our Family I have put in my nomination and will follow the process with interviews etc.
I’ll give you more information as it comes to hand.

Club News and Future Activities
- We will be preparing and serving Breakfast at Heritage Park on 26th Jan.
Mike has emailed :-
As you would be aware we have Australia Day coming up on the 26th of this month and as is usual for our club we are running the breakfast at Heritage Park on behalf of Blayney Shire Council.
At this point in time we are proceeding with plans to run the Breakfast as normal, this obviously may change with Covid restrictions.
I am looking for volunteers to man the BBQ, prepare breakfast etc and I am already aware that some members are unable to attend this year so I am putting out the request a bit early.
I believe that Council has advertised the breakfast to commence at 8am, so I would like some help with set up at 7am and then more helpers to cook, prepare and serve from about 7.30am.
If you can assist, please let me know what times you can help by return email.
The ceremony commences at 8.30amso we should be all done around 9.30am allowing for packup time.
Thank you for considering my request to help with this special community service event, given the current circumstances.

- The "climbing wall project" is progressing despite lock down restrictions. Mike and Jane will provide an update.
- The club Christmas Party was a very friendly affair. Well done to all who contributed.
- the proposed club visit by Brindabella E-Club has been postponed to a date to be fixed , probably March.
- our next Market Day will be in February 2022. Our stall holders are keen, but we need to assess the situation closer to the date.
Birthdays & Anniversaries in January
Rosemary Sloane, Fiona Johnson, Mike Whitten, and Kelly Franze all have birthdays this month.
Lots of people got married in January, including Graeme & Lyn, Ian & Elizabeth, Dianne & Jack, and Brian & Pat.
