On TuesdPresident Brendan presented Sarah with a cheque.ay May 10th, Enrolled Nursing Student, Sarah Drury, spoke to the club about her upcoming travels to China with a scholarship from the Outbound Mobility Program.  Sarah will be in China for 3 weeks visiting the American Sino Hospital and the Redleaf Hospitial for Women and Children, both in Shanghai.  While at the hospitals Sarah will be involved in the birthing units.  It won’t be all work for Sarah and her fellow students, who will be visiting the Shanghai Acrobat Circus, doing cooking and calligraphy courses.  Sarah is a mature age student, who, before beginning her studies to be an enrolled nurse, worked in Aged Care Services and Disability Services.  After graduating, Sarah hopes to work in Emergency and Intensive Care.  The Bathurst Rotary Club presented Sarah with a cheque to assist her in financing her trip.
