We're Still Friends

As the holidays approach it's a great time to renew friendships. That includes friends from Northern Ireland. Some alumni of the Friends Forever group will be joining us for Thursday's meeting and later at our Night Out With The Pelicans. These 18-34 yr. olds from Ireland, Israel, and New England will be learning leadership skills to help with the program in their homelands.

Entertaining Information

As expected, Tulane Political Science Professor, Chris Fettweis, made a very informative and entertaining presentation of his views about our country's relations with the world at last Thursday's meeting. We expect to invite him back for an update in a year or 2.

4 More Meetings in 2019

We will, or course, have no meeting on Thanksgiving or the following week, Dec. 5 because our Christmas party is Dec. 6.

Dec. 6, Jen Esler & Luke DeLouise rappel down Benson Tower for Special Olympics

Jan. 9, 2020, our next blood donor day

See Clif Rhodes to add your name to the volunteers that will serve seniors on Nov. 24 and/or ring the bell for the Salvation Army on Dec. 7.

We'll have no meeting on Dec. 26.
