Bridges Out of Poverty

The Northern Nevada Connections/Bridges Out of Poverty program is designed to help families move out of  poverty.  The participants in the program take classes designed to help them see and overcome the barriers to making the transition out of poverty to self sufficiency.  The participants have mentors assigned to help them during their journey.  This program has been supported by all of the Area 8 Rotary Clubs, both in funding, and volunteer service time.  Our speaker, David Crumbley has been actively involved with the program and is the past president of the Rotary Club of Reno Central.
