2019 Turkey Run

San Antonio North Central Rotary club's 2019 "Turkey Run" has been completed successfully. Each year, for over a decade, in cooperation with North East Independent School District Family Specialists we have generated lists of 20 families in their schools who are most in need of food assistance during the Thanksgiving Holidays. Those lists are compiled by, North Central Rotarian Monica Gutierrez, who assigns 16-20 North Central Rotarians to drive Interactors from Winston School San Antonio and other Interactors to deliver turkeys and fixin's to the families on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This year we provided over 140 meals to Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the NEISD area. Many Interactors have said that this one service project meant the most to them during their Interact Club years.
