On March 27, 2015 the Rotary Club South hosted their 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament.   The Republic Golf Course, partnered with us for the third year as the host golf course where we saw an array of golfer.  Young, seasoned, avid and amateur golfers enjoyed the perfect weather and great game of golf..... all for a great cause.  We were pleased to to have twenty one teams participate to help this year's tournament be a great success. Players gathered at the final round to see the winners crowned, but for the Rotary club of San Antonio South every participant was a winner for supporting this year's event.

It was truly a blessing to have both our sponsors, local businesses, volunteers and our Rotarians help support our Golf Tournament.  Through the help of everyone who participated, we were able to raise over $10,000.  The funds raised will help in providing educational scholarships to outstanding and deserving students in the San Antonio Community;  and to support activities through the Rotary Foundation that aid families in need locally and globally.

Shelter Box provides and delivers emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters and humanitarian crises.  Shelter Box has grown from one club's adopted project to the largest global Rotary Club project in the 100- year history of the organization.  The fundraising efforts by Rotarians make up a significant of donations received by Shelter Box.  We raised funds to aid and support the Shelter Box and make a difference in the lives of disaster survivors.
