It was moved, seconded and voted that we'll give meeting at the school library a try, probably starting after spring break in a few weeks. We voted to pay the school $300 a month and look to have two meals a school month provided by the culinary students.
We plan go through the golf tournament sponsor list at the next meeting to divvy it up. It's encouraged that those who know a prospective sponsor be the ones to solicit a sponsorship, as they would be more likely than a stranger to be successful.
Mike Barbour has expressed that he does not want to chair the Fundraising committee. Michael asked for a volunteer at the meeting and received no response. Please contact Michael if you wish to chair the Fundraising committee.
A Note on Guests
If you bring guests and/or prospective members to our weekly Rotary meetings, please let Lynn Munden know by Friday of the week before so there is enough food for everyone. We have more members attending each week, which is great, but Lynn needs to know about extras. Rotary members pay for their guests' meals (excluding the speaker). Orlando adds it to monthly dues.
