It looks like we will once again have a Golf Tournament this year to raise funding for student scholarships. A tentative time for it is May 2nd, subject to what else may be going on that weekend. Members who volunteered for the Golf Tournament committee are

Any other member wanting to volunteer, please let one of those people know. Key to the effort will be soliciting sponsors. One may help to solicit sponsors without necessarily having to serve on the committee.
Since more carts than necessary were procured last year, which ate into the proceeds, Clay suggested that the cost of carts might be rolled into the entry fee.
Also, it was discussed in what manner to make food available, since many out-of-towners may want to head home after the event instead of staying for a meal.
A Note on Guests
If you bring guests and/or prospective members to our weekly Rotary meetings, please let Lynn Munden know by Friday of the week before so there is enough food for everyone. We have more members attending each week, which is great, but Lynn needs to know about extras. Rotary members pay for their guests' meals (excluding the speaker). Orlando adds it to monthly dues.
