The Rotary signs have been paid for. Michael Cook plans to pick them up.
The annual Thanksgiving bake sale is slated for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It would be best to bring two of each item on Wednesday morning—one to be sold at each bank. It does not have to be a dessert, but could also be rolls. If Wednesday is not possible for you, then you may be able to bring baked goods to the banks on Tuesday afternoon.
Some estimates will be sought to furnish Casa Care with new carpeting and to make a couple of restrooms to be functional. This is to be done under the umbrella of the initial partnership with Mission of Brady.
Our guest speaker was Athletics Director Jaron Roberts, who expressed pride in how close the Brady Bulldogs have been as a team as they work toward their goal of a district championship.
A Note on Guests
If you bring guests and/or prospective members to our weekly Rotary meetings, please let Lynn Munden know by Friday of the week before so there is enough food for everyone. We have more members attending each week, which is great, but Lynn needs to know about extras. Rotary members pay for their guests' meals (excluding the speaker). Orlando adds it to monthly dues.
