The presentation on August 26th consisted of new members Walker Bauer and Matthew Billingsley, who addressed the club about themselves. Walker is a lifelong Brady resident who currently works as a credit analyst for Commercial National Bank. Matthew and his wife moved to Brady a few months ago. They are enjoying the smalltown life, and Matthew is busy working in sales at Solana Motors. We are happy to have them!
We are looking forward to inducting Holly Garza and Melissa Richardson as new Brady Rotary Club members at the September 9th meeting. Here's hoping that the stars will align that day!

Judge Rob Hoffman mentioned how he was given a pen for recently speaking at the Junction Rotary Club, He suggested that some kind of swag be given to speakers at our club.
Clay Jones announced that Commercial National Bank will be serving fajitas on Friday and brisket on Saturday for the Goat Cook-Off. They will also be accepting donations to Brady Rotary Club at that time, so here's hoping for enthusiastic participation in that.
A Note on Guests
If you bring guests and/or prospective members to our weekly Rotary meetings, please let Lynn Munden know by Friday of the week before so there is enough food for everyone. We have more members attending each week, which is great, but Lynn needs to know about extras. Rotary members pay for their guests' meals (excluding the speaker). Orlando adds it to monthly dues.
We've had a nice spike recently in the amount of views of our Facebook page. We will try to keep it updated with new content to keep peoples' interest.
