Brady Rotary Club Business from Tuesday, December 9, 2025
District raffle tickets are available until January of next year.
The check was received from G. Rollie White for the Casa Care project, and some bills have already been paid from that.
The meeting attendees voted to send four students from the county to this year's RYLA. Those students are yet to be determined.
We discussed placing the Rotary community project signs at the golf course, Casa Care, and the swimming pool. One is also planned to be displayed at the heater drive. We discussed placing the meeting date/time signs on the city limits poles. Judge Rob Hoffman will communicate with James Stewart about city permission to do that.
This year's heater drive is set for Saturday, December 13 at Keith's Ace Hardware. Some Interact students will be helping out Rotarian members.
Daniel Mendoza volunteered to send an email out to our club members inquiring about their status. It would be preferable to not be invoiced by the district for members on our rolls who plan to leave the club soon. Since the invoice goes out next month, we would appreciate knowing in the next three weeks.
Our speakers were our newest members, Wendy Day and Steve Darden. Wendy is Director of Brady West Rehab & Nursing. Steve is in ranch management, along with doing home inspections.
A Note on Guests
If you bring guests and/or prospective members to our weekly Rotary meetings, please let Lynn Munden know by Friday of the week before so there is enough food for everyone. We have more members attending each week, which is great, but Lynn needs to know about extras. Rotary members pay for their guests' meals (excluding the speaker). Orlando adds it to monthly dues.
