SCHOLARSHIPS: Each year the Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island provides scholarship funds to students attending post-secondary educational institutions that offer an academic, vocational, or apprenticeship program. In 2022 we awarded $21,500 to seven scholarship recipients, the largest amount in the club's history.
Over the last 40 years the club has provided more than $390,000 in scholarships to local students to help defray the cost of higher education. Since 2017 the club has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship funds to 36 recipients.

LOCAL GRANTS AND PROJECTS: Since 1982 the Club has donated over $354,000 to local projects and $627,000 in grants to organizations that help members of our community. These organizations feed the hungry, care for the elderly, support our veterans, provide shelter to the homeless, help mothers and children, and provide necessary and humanitarian assistance in our local community.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS: As members of Rotary International, our club strives to make an impact in the global community by sponsoring projects in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. While these are typically smaller projects, they have a big impact on the recipients of our international grants. The Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island provided funding to purchase 15 laptops for students at the Ngandu School, Kenya.
