New pending exchange student, Alice Bellini from Italy has been corresponding with us and other host families. She is really looking forward to coming to Collie and can hardly wait to meet you all.
Out going nominee, James Moulden had his District interview last weekend and will soon be informed if and where he is going.
4 way Test Speech Contest has been publicized and should run later this year.
Mock interviews for high school employment aspirants will be held late July/early August.
Final grant received, banners ready to go and portable sign have been made for clean-yps.clean-ups.
Keep Australia Beautiful Council has sent the last of the grant money through to the Club. Banners are almost ready to put up in the main street. 6 signs have been made to put on newly cleaned roadside verges to remind people to keep them clear of litter.
Doug showed us through an amazing variety of building tools which he worked with since he started his apprenticeship in the trade. He bought old examples of hand and power tools in leveling, measuring, planning, drilling, saw cutting, nails and screw fixing. Doug's legacy of excellence in building will be appreciated by Collie residents for decades to come.
The gong has arrived and its is a sight to be seen.....
The musical gong bought by a private grant and money donated by Collie Rotary is awesome. It is amazing to look at and listen to. It fills any room with an incredible sound and will feature in many productions in this town for many years.
