We visited Greg White's, White Building Company in Rowlands Road for our final vocational visit for this Rotary Board year. Members enjoyed a tour of the premises to see the building and cabinet making equipment and systems with Greg White and Brett Earl. Afterwards we enjoyed some fellowship and excellent BBQ cooking by Michelle Gleeson.
President Bob thanked Greg White for hosting a great vocational visit. It was very interesting to hear the latest trends in building technology, especially in the context of last week’s talk by Doug Gulvin on development of tools in the industry.
Also thanks to Graeme and Michelle Pillatti and Mike Booth for organizing and facilitating the visit and barbeque.
Next week is Membership week, where we have invited guests to Rotary. We are confirming attendance, and if asked to call someone to confirm attendance, please do so.
Directors are reminded that their yearly reports are overdue. Please submit them to Bob ASAP so they can be printed in the program for changeover.
