The annual South West Bike Trek, a major fund-raiser for children’s leukaemia research, was held recently.
Some 20 riders took part in the 600km week-long ride from Perth to Augusta.
Once again, our club supported the event by hosting a BBQ dinner for the riders at the Men’s Shed.
President Chris White presented a $1000 donation from our club, plus the $137 proceeds from our fines session the previous night.
