SAIL INTO LIFE RECOMMENCED 10 OCTOBER 2018

INCREASING NUMBERS OF PEOPLE ARE NOW ABLE  TO ENJOY SAIL INTO LIFE IN BUSSELTON DUE TO THE ADDITION OF A NEW BOAT

If you've never sailed or like to sail but never get the chance, then the Sail into Life program could be for you or someone you know.

Sail Into Life gives anyone who has never enjoyed the thrill of sailing the chance to safely sail around the Port Geographe harbour in the company of an experienced sailor. People with a disability, able-bodied people including seniors who simple want to enjoy the thrill of sailing, as well as volunteer helpers are welcome to join us from 9.00am on alternate Wednesdays for a morning sail during the sailing season. The small yachts used for Sail into Life sit low in the water and, even at modest speeds, they give the impression of zipping along, so the sailing experience is exhilarating.
The cost of a sail is just $5 to cover the cost of fuel and maintenance for the mandatory rescue boat.
The program does not run over winter months but will resume on 10 October 2018.
The club has also purchasing another boat for its fleet thanks to the generosity of Rotarian Rose Harrington meaning we will be able to extend the project to even more people this sailing season.
SAILING DATES
