As your 102nd president, I am thrilled to lead our club under the inspiring theme for the 2024-25 Rotary year: The Magic of Rotary. Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick has called on us to recognize and amplify our power to save lives. “You create the magic with every project completed, every dollar donated, and every new member,” she reminds us.
This year, we are magicians, creating change and hope through our actions. Our service projects provide tangible impacts grounded in hard work, dedication, and the spirit of service.
One of our key focuses will be on supporting education and youth programs, such as funding weekend backpacks for kids and providing resources for music and book programs in our schools. Reading has always been a passion for me. It opened doors to learning and growth, transforming my life and helping me escape a life of poverty. By supporting these initiatives, we offer children a gateway to brighter futures.
We also plan to partner with local organizations to enhance community facilities and provide essential services. In all our endeavors, we follow Rotary's Four-Way Test, ensuring our actions are truthful, fair, and beneficial while building goodwill and better friendships.
With every project, every dollar, and every new member, we create magic in our community.
