Lyle Poolman Scholarship Fund

The Mount Vernon Rotary Club offers scholarships to graduating Mount Vernon area high school students pursuing post-high school education. The scholarships are named in memory of Lyle Poolman (1944-2008), Mount Vernon Club Rotarian and long-time chair of the Club’s Scholarship Committee. During his 30-year career in the justice system Lyle witnessed the power of education in the lives of our youth and shared this passion with his fellow Rotarians.

The club’s annual auction makes it possible for the club to give over $30,000 in scholarships each year. Applications are available for download on the club’s home page, or by contacting guidance counselors any of the area high schools.
