Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation

This presentation will be educating us about Osteopathic Medicine, and talking about the student doctors who are working their rotations in your area, and why it's important for you to not only know this, but engage in a relationship with them early on, before they graduate from medical school.

The presenters are David and Linda Tate.  David is the Executive Director of the Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation.  He spent 26 years for the Boys Scouts of America, and came to the Portland area to care for aging parents and in-laws.  Osteopathic medicine has been a part of David's family for many generations, and became Executive Director.  David is a Paul Harris fellow and was President of the Southeast Portland Rotary Club.  Linda is the Communications Director for the Foundation.  She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of social services, having served with juvenile offenders, victims of domestic violence, homeless victims and families, foster children, adult offenders and the developmentally disabled.
