Members of the Ascot Rotary Club took time out of our planned meeting to toast the Ascot Rotary Club of UK
We started the new Rotary year with the opportunity to toast another Rotary Club - and as we have a club with the same name as ours it was only fitting to make them our first toast.
In preparing for the toast we found out that the other Ascot Club meets on Wednesdays - sometimes at lunch time and sometimes for an evening meal. They are heavily involved in their local community and participate in lots of programmes to support youth in their area. They also have partnered with clubs in the Netherlands, Germany and France and enjoy exchange visits with them.
Like us, they love getting together and having fun whilst supporting a range of great causes within their community.
