Scholarship Program
Winona Rotary is starting a new Student of the Month Scholarship Program. We will select nine applicants to be our student of the month throughout the school year, highlighting one student each month. The applicant must be a high school senior from the Winona area. The student selected each month will be notified by mail. That student and his/her parents/guardians or school counselor will be invited to attend a Rotary meeting in the month for which they are chosen. The student will have the opportunity to give a short talk about themselves and his/her plans for the future.
A $500 scholarship will be awarded in May to one of the nine Winona Rotary Students of the Month. Each student will also be highlighted in the paper or other media as our Rotary Student of the Month.
