Pamela Gnagy moved to Winona in February of 2012 to answer a call to become Designated Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church.  Pam was born in Pittsburgh, PA and has lived most of her adult life in Upstate New York, between Syracuse and Cooperstown.  However, she lived in Wisconsin as a child, spending her elementary school years in Milwaukee and her middle school years in Clinton, WI, so she says moving to Minnesota feels like moving back home to the Midwest!  Becoming a pastor is a second career for Pam; for nearly twenty-five years she was co-owner of a True Value retail hardware store.  She did all the bookkeeping and was responsible for learning all the computer software for the business and training personnel.  Pam also served as a part-time organist/choir director for about ten years.  After receiving a call to ministry, Pam entered Columbia Theological Seminary and graduated in 2010.  She did an internship as a chaplain following graduation and continued volunteering as an assistant chaplain at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY until being called to Winona.  Pam has one son, Rob, who practices family medicine in Penn Yan, New York.  Rob and his wife, Rachel, have one daughter, Ada Elizabeth, who was just born on April 5.  Pam is now learning the joys of being a grandparent!  Pam enjoys reading, music, and riding her bicycle.  She is also enjoying learning more about Winona and getting to know more of the wonderful people who live and work here!

Please welcome Pam Gnagy to Winona Rotary!
